Summary: One day, Chicken Little discovers that something terrible is happening in her kingdom: the sky is falling! In order to save her very dear home, she decides that she must run and tell the King about the present danger. Along her path to the palace, she runs into many of her friends. Each one decides to join Chicken Little on her journey to see the King. When all of the animal friends finally arrive at the palace, they are all in for a big surprise when his Majesty, the King, discovers the real reason for the falling sky.

Review: With colorful drawings, repetitive sayings, and animal names that rhyme, this book is sure to entertain young readers. Anywhere from PreK to 2nd grade would be my recommendation. It is a fun story that ends happily and is content appropriate for this age group.

It contains five verses to the famous poem and illustrations for each verse. The battery powered light shines through a small hole in each page. This makes it a fun and interactive book for young children. The print is also a larger size so children can follow along easily. Review: This book containing the famous children's lullaby has thick pages and a durable cardboard cover making it ideal for young children to handle. It also has very colorful pictures which will have children memorized. The Big Balloon Race Written by Eleanor Coerr & Pictures by Carolyn Croll Summary: This is a story about a woman named Carlotta Myers and her daughter Ariel. Carlotta was  an aeronaut who flew in hot air balloons. One morning, it was the day of the big race. Balloonists from all over the country would come to compete for the gold medal. Ariel wished that she could ride in the balloon with her mother, but she said no because she was too young. When they got to the grounds of the race, everyone was there. The townspeople, the other competitors, and even the mayor! Carlotta told Ariel that she could stand in the basket until take off, but that she would need to get out when the race was about to begin.
